Namibia: How the World's Oldest Desert Found Political Freedom
Located in southwest Africa, Namibia is distinguished by the Namib Desert along the Atlantic coast. Bordering Angola, Zambia and Botswana, Namibia gained independence from South Africa in 1990. Enjoy an overview of the geography of Namibia, including the history of the country as it made its way to becoming an independent nation.
