Patriots for Their People

The struggle of Native American people to preserve their cultures and very existence produced many native leaders of integrity and vision. Explore the exploits of several significant leaders, including: Hiawatha (Iroquois), Metacome (King Philip) in Massachusetts, coalition leader Pontiac, Tecumseh, Oceola (Seminoles), Black Hawk in Mississippi, Crazy Horse (Sioux), Apache leader Geronimo and the brilliant Chief Joseph (Nez Perces).
