Part one of this course left OLLI members asking for more! Learn more about mosquitoes, lice, fleas, bedbugs, ticks and the diseases they transmit. You will leave fully informed and perhaps a little itchy! Let this class be your entry into the captivating world of insects because according to your instructor, everyone is a curious entomologist.

Nazzy Pakpour

Nazzy Pakpour is a queer Iranian-American scientist and author of the children’s book Please Don’t Bite Me! She received her BS in entomology from UC Davis and her doctorate in microbiology, virology and parasitology from the University of Pennsylvania. Nazzy loves bugs of all varieties, whether they are six-legged or microscopic.
