Teaching Civics: Elementary Teachers Civics Summit
Online
The three-day summit is hosted in partnership with the Yolo County Office of Education, California History-Social Science Project, California Reading and Literature Project, and the Area 3 Writing Project. This summit will provide teachers with the most up-to-date resources and information about civics education in California and provide them with opportunities to practice model lesson plans for grades TK-6, have collaboration time with fellow educators, and gain connections to local community organizations.

This is an optional 1 CEU course. Please do not enroll in this section if you have not attended course.
Enrollment Policies
No refunds or discounts for this credit only course. Enrollment up to July 25th, 2025. Please check with the programmer if students would like to purchase credit past the enrollment deadline. Attendance must be verified before credit is issued. Transfers will be accepted though a $30 transfer fee applies.
