The World of Fungi

Fungi are among the most diverse organisms on the planet. Explore their ecological roles and importance in decomposition, parasitism and mutualisms. We’ll also discuss how people have used fungi for millennia in food production, medicine and industry. The course will include hands-on observations of a variety of fungi.
