CEQA Practitioner Program

The four-course CEQA Practitioner Program has been designed to provide professionals with a comprehensive overview of the entire CEQA process. Through a review of case studies, project-based work and real-world examples that instructors and fellow learners bring to the discussion, you’ll gain an understanding of the legal requirements and best practices necessary to ensuring your project meets CEQA standards.

How Does it Work?
- Complete two required courses: CEQA: A Step-by-step Approach and Successful CEQA Compliance: An Intensive Seminar
- Complete two elective courses of your choosing (see full list of available electives below in Section Notes)
- Successfully complete a total of four (4) courses in a year, or less, and you will earn a skills badge to display on LinkedIn
- Students who enroll in this program and pre-pay for all four courses up front receive a 10% discount on their final elective course and $25 off our return course, CEQA Update Issues and Trends
How to Enroll
- Click on the “Apply Now” button and fill out a brief application form where we’ll ask you to choose the two elective courses you’d like to take. Don’t worry, there’s no application fee!
- Once you submit your application, a program representative will email you within 48 business hours with a link to your personalized shopping cart where you will be able to pay for the two required and two elective courses you’ve chose for your program
- Upon payment, you will be enrolled into all four courses and will receive instructions via email as to the dates and next steps for your personalized CEQA Practitioner Program

Section Notes
All courses in this program are online, in a remote learning format, which consists of content and curriculum that is taught with pre-recorded and real time lectures, in addition to real-time lecture/Q&A sessions with the instructors. Pre-recorded lectures and live sessions are accessed via our Canvas learning system and Zoom.
Attendance of the live session and completion of associated activities for each course is mandatory to receive credit for this program.
Individual course details, including dates and times of lectures and Q&A sessions will be emailed out prior to the start of each class.
Program Schedule
Total instruction time for an individual course, including watching pre-recorded lectures, course work and participation in required live class discussions is approximately equivalent to a one-day (6.5-hour) class or a two-day (13 hour) class. Please note that course schedules are tentative and subject to change.

Enrollment Policies
Students enrolled in the CEQA Practitioner Program receive a discounted program fee on their final course. If your plans change, a request to drop (or transfer) to another offering of a series or course must be received prior to the course start date and will require a processing fee of $30.
Refund deadline: January 3, 2024. Requests to drop from the full series prior to 7 days before the start of the first class will be processed with a full refund, less a $30 processing fee.
Students may transfer into other course sections if a core course or elective does not fit their schedule, but after the refund window closes before the first-class requests to drop the CEQA Practitioner Program will not be processed.
